TUPELO -- The Clinton High School Women's Cross Country might not have gotten the team finish it wanted, but the team left with the satisfaction of some new personal records on Saturday.
The Lady Arrows ran solid times but placed fourth in an up-tempo 5000m race at the Fleet Feet Tupelo Invitational. Three Clinton runners --
Riley Moore,
Eleanor Wilson, and

Caroline Henry landed in the top 10 with a time of 20 minutes, 34 seconds, an eighth-place finish, and Wilson, who finished 16th overall, crushed her old personal best with a pace of 21 minutes, 19 seconds -- a whole minute and change off the freshman's original record from 2024.
Sisson placed 17th with a time of 21:20, a new person record, and
Ellen Fortenberry rounded out the Lady Arrows' scoring times with a 22:58 pace, placing 30th individually.
