The Clinton High School Women's Cross Country team continued its strong performances with a third-place finish in the team competition at Mississippi College's Watson Invitational on Saturday morning.
Riley Moore paced the Lady Arrows with an top-10 finish during the 5000m race in the meet's Silver Division at Choctaw Trails.
Moore finished the course with a time of 20 minutes, 48 seconds. The junior had a 7:45 split at the race's 2000-meter mark.
Lily Sisson placed 11th, running a time of 20 minutes, 50 seconds, and
Olivia Gibbs rounded out the top 15 with a pace of 21 minutes, eight seconds.
Eleanor Wilson landed in the 18th spot, completing the Choctaw Trail course in 21:14.
Clinton's last scoring runner was
Caroline Henry who ended her race in 22 minutes, nine seconds. She landed in 31st place.

The Lady Arrows participate in the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Central Mississippi Super Regional on Thursday, October 23, at Choctaw Trails. It is the penultimate race before the MHSAA Class 7A State Championship on Saturday, Nov. 1.
