The Clinton High School Softball team were victorious against the North Pike Lady Jaguars with a 4-0 decision on Tuesday night at Clinton High School.
Annalise Whitworth earned the win in the circle. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and zero runs in the complete game, striking out one and walking three.
Estrella Constancio blasted a solo homerun over the left-field fence in the bottom of the third inning, getting the Lady Arrows on the board.
Destiny Funchess and
Kaelyn Thames were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Clinton.
Hayden-Leigh Holifield,
Estrella Constancio, Funchess, and Thames each drove in one run for the Lady Arrows.
While in the field, Clinton did not commit a single error against the Lady Jaguars. Mackenzie Cooley had the most opportunities at her shortstop position with five putouts.
