GLUCKSTADT -- The Clinton High School Men's Soccer team endured a defensive-minded battle on the road on Tuesday night, breaking through in overtime to secure its second Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Region 2-7A victory at Germantown High School.
Jayden Fields provided the decisive moment in extra time, rising above the Germantown defense to nod home an in-swinging corner from
Juan Parades eight minutes into the overtime's first half. The goal sealed a 1-0 win for the Arrows.
The result improved Clinton's overall record to 6-0-2 and 2-0 in region action, building early momentum with eight region matches left.
