CLINTON -- Clinton Arrow soccer players Jayden Fields, Juan Parades and Bradley Wells signed national letters of intent to continue their soccer careers at the collegiate level during a signing ceremony Monday, April 27, inside the Clinton High School Media Center.
The trio was celebrated by family, teammates, coaches and school administrators as they took the next step in their athletic journeys.
Fields will continue his career at Tougaloo College, while Parades and Wells will join the Hinds Community College program.
Fields is the son of Yolanda and Jerry Fields. He featured as a defender for the Arrows, earning the team's Most Improved Player award and Most Valuable Defensive Player honors during his 11th-grade campaign. Outside of soccer, Fields is a member of the CHS Anchor Club.
Parades is the son of Maria Eugenia Montano and Walter Parades. He played as a midfielder during his time with Clinton. In his junior season, Parades was named Rookie of the Year. He has graduated from his English as a Second Language classes and is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at CHS.
Wells is the son of James and Melanie Wells. A center back for the Arrows, Wells served as a team captain during his junior and senior seasons. He was selected to play in the Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Star Game last summer in Brandon. Off the field, Wells is a member of the National Honor Society.
