OXFORD -- The Clinton High School Women's Basketball team continued their hunt for a MHSAA Region 2-7A Tournament title with a 44-27 win over the Germantown Lady Mavericks Tuesday afternoon at Oxford High School, punching their ticket for the MHSAA Class 7A State Tournament with the triumph.

The Lady Arrows improved their overall record to 14-12 and set up a showdown with the No. 1-seeded Starkville Lady Jackets in the region tournament's semifinals. Both teams are set for a 3:30 p.m. tip-off in Oxford.
