MADISON -- London Mckenzie poured in a team-high 12 points and
Courtland Jones followed with 11, but the Clinton High School Men's Basketball team couldn't overcome a fast start by Madison Central, falling 57-45 in a MHSAA Region 2-7A contest Friday night at Madison Central High School.
Javarius Tyler added nine points for the Arrows, while Logan Gardner chipped in six during the loss.
The hosting Jaguars seized control early, jumping out to a 17-6 advantage after one quarter and extended the margin to 33-17 by halftime. Madison Central never let its lead slip below double digits, pushing the advantage to 49-35 after three and closing out the game over the final eight minutes for its fifth regional win.
The loss moved Clinton's region record to 0-8 and 4-20 overall.
