TUPELO -- The Clinton High School Softball team completed their Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Division 2-7A slate at Tupelo High School on Tuesday evening.
Keelyn Constancio collected a team-high three hits in four at-bats as the Clinton Lady Arrows defeated the Tupelo Lady Wave, 14-4, in five innings. The Lady Arrows (16-10, 5-3 MHSAA Division 2-7A) have won six straight games and four of the last five District 2-7A games.

Madison Nelson were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup as each drove in three runs for Clinton.
Cailyn Willis collected two hits for the Lady Arrows in three at-bats.
Annalise Whitworth started in the circle for Clinton. The pitcher gave up three hits and four runs (one earned) over five frames, striking out one and walking five.
The Lady Arrows were not sluggish after a three-hour drive to Tupelo. Clinton scored eight turns in the first inning on the way to the run-rule win. A pair of errors plated two runs,
Cailyn Willis singled, scoring one run,
Destiny Funchess drew a walk, scoring one run,
Keelyn Constancio doubled, scoring two runs, and Nelson singled, scoring two runs.

The Lady Arrows host the Warren Central Lady Vikings on Thursday evening at Clinton High School. The Junior-Varsity game starts at 5 p.m., and the Varsity game begins at 6:30 p.m.
