TUPELO -- The Clinton High School Tennis team displayed outstanding performances at the MHSAA Division 2-7A Individual Tournament on Thursday. All doubles pairings and individuals advanced out of the first round -- several making deep runs in the tournament.

Tejasvi Uppu fell in the individual girls' final but qualified for the MHSAA Individual State Tournament to be held on April 15-17 in Vicksburg.

Ethan Rone and Kushal Mannam reached the boys' doubles semifinals. Avanthi Remata and Cate Thompson reached the girls' doubles semifinals. Grayson Fortenberry and Wellsley Wilkinson reached the mixed doubles semifinals, as well.
