The Clinton High School Tennis team dropped its Division 2-7A opener to Madison Central High School, 7-0, on Monday afternoon at the Madison County Schools Tennis Complex.
In the singles matches,
Tejasvi Uppu dropped her match with Kennedy Hutto 1-6, 0-6 and
Kushal Mannam was defeated by Taylor Parker 0-6, 3-6.
In the girls' doubles matches,
Avanthi Remata and
Kinley Brooks lost to Madison Central's No. 1 doubles pair 0-6, 2-6, and
Hannah Webb and Elaina Cook lost to the Madison Central's No. 2 pairing 0-6, 1-6.
In the boys' doubles matches,
Ethan Rone and
Brady Mayfield lost the Jaguars' No. 1 pairing 1-6, 2-6, and
Jacob Strickler and Grayson Fortenberry lost the No. 2-pairing 1-6, 0-6.
In the mixed doubles match, Mamas Guduru and
Wellsley Wilkinson were shutout by Madison Central 0-6, 0-6.
