BOSSIER CITY, La. -- The Clinton High School Men's Cross Country team had a strong showing at the Border Dash on Saturday morning.
The Arrows finished sixth out of 17 teams. Clinton junior
Bobby Guillory completed the three-mile race in 17 minutes, 34 seconds -- the fastest time on the team -- for a 24th-place spot on the individual leader board. The race had 220 competitors.
Adam Boone ran the course in 17 minutes, 53 seconds for the 32nd spot.
Hyrum Boone and
Levi Cook completed the course in 18 minutes, 10 seconds, and 18 minutes, 11 seconds, respectively. Sophomore
Dillon Pittman rounded out the top-five Arrows with his 18:33.
In the middle school boys' race, the Arrows took the top spot for the teams in the 1-and-1/2-mile race, clearing the field of 11 by 33 team points.
Daniel Dolson completed his journey in seven minutes, 30 seconds -- good enough for a second place finish, individually.
Logan Moore and
William Howell claimed top-five finishes as they completed their races in seven minutes, 42 seconds, and 7 minutes, 51 seconds, respectively.
Micah Kieffer, Jackson Rogers,
Ezra Connelly,
Noah Duncan, and
Coleman Finch all finished in the middle-school race's top 15 for the Arrows.
