The fireworks show was not complete, yet, however, as the Lady Vikings stormed back for 2 more runs in the top of the 7th. A leadoff walk was followed by a double to center. After pitcher

In the bottom of the 7th,
Kaelyn Thames led off with a double followed by a single from
Anna Raines and another single from

Head Coach Rachel Hurley said of her team's effort, "I'm super proud of how resilient we were. They came out and scored 3 in the first inning and we could've laid down then, but instead we found a way to answer back. That's what it's about, finding a way to dig deep to pull out the win. It took everyone to get it done and each player played a role in some way., and that's what I'm the most proud of. Overall it's still early in the season but as long as we keep fighting we always have a chance."
The Lady Arrows return to action on Saturday morning as they travel east on I-20 to Lake High School. They will play Enterprise-Clarke at 9:30 AM, followed by Lewsiburg at 11:30 AM.
