VICKSBURG -- The Clinton High School women's cross country team won the Warren Central Valhalla Invitational in dominant fashion on Saturday, Sept. 19, on the campus of Warren Central Intermediate School.

Riley Moore paced the Lady Arrows, winning the individual championship with a time of 21:20.2 in the 5000m race.

Caroline Henry followed in second at 21:42.2, while Olivia Gibbs finished third with a time of 21:42.9, giving Clinton a sweep of the top three individual spots.

Eleanor Wilson and Eleanor Freeny completed the Lady Arrows' scoring five, placing sixth and 10th, respectively, as all five Clinton scorers finished inside the top 10.

Clinton finished with 22 points, defeating runner-up St. Andrew's Episcopal School by 28 points.

The Lady Arrows posted an average scoring time of 22:11 with a scoring spread of 2:15. Clinton also placed 12 runners inside the top 50.

The Clinton Junior High School girls' team also claimed the team championship in the 3000m race.

AvaKate Boone paced CJHS by winning the individual championship with a time of 13:20.

Anna Dear followed in second at 13:45, while Norah Byars finished fourth with a time of 14:52.

Charlie Berdami and Mirabel Nohra completed the CJHS' scoring five, placing fifth and sixth, respectively. All five scoring runners finished among the top six individually.
