CLINTON -- Clinton Lady Arrow soccer players
Ruby Acy,
Kayla Jones, and
Olivia Lamier each signed their national letters of intent to continue their soccer careers at the collegiate level during a signing ceremony held Friday, April 17, inside the Clinton High School Media Center. The trio was surrounded by family, friends, teammates, and coaches as they celebrated the next chapter of their athletic journeys.
All three will join the Holmes Community College women's soccer program. Acy and Jones both will compete for the Bulldogs on the field, while Lamier will continue her involvement in the sport as a team manager.
Acy, the daughter of Amanda and Jared Acy, has competed for both Mississippi Rush ECNL-RL and the Lady Arrows during her prep career. A standout leader off the field, she serves as co-president of the Student Leadership Network and is a two-year member of the Anchor Club and Mu Alpha Theta. Acy plans to major in psychology and economics at Holmes.
Jones, the daughter of Tami and Derrick Jones, has also competed for Mississippi Rush ECNL-RL and the Lady Arrows during her high school career. A decorated attacking player for Clinton, Jones was named to the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Best XI in 2025 and led the Lady Arrows in goals during the 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25 seasons.
Lamier, the daughter of Samantha and Trey Meacham and Megan and Ken Lamier, played for the Lady Arrows from seventh through 10th grade before transitioning to a managerial role during her junior year. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Anchor Club. Lamier plans to major in kinesiology at Holmes as she pursues a career in physical therapy.
