STARKVILLE -- The Clinton Archery teams competed in the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Archery in Mississippi Schools (AIMS) North State Qualifier Tournament on Tuesday, March 25, at the Mississippi State University Horse Park. Both team's results were good enough to qualify for the MHSAA AIMS State Championship to be held Monday, April 7, through Thursday, April 10, at the Mississippi State Trademart in Jackson.

The high school team finished in ninth place out of 18 teams in the MHSAA 3A division. The junior high team placed eighth out of 11 in the AIMS 4A divison.

The high school team participates in the state tournament on Monday, April 7th, and the junior high team competes on Thursday, April 10.
