Clinton Arrow Archery has enjoyed the start of the start of their season.
After defeating Vicksburg on Tuesday, the Arrows defeated the Madison Central Archery team, 3,076-3,059, at the Clinton Junior High School (CJHS) Gym. Clinton carries a 2-0 record into the second week of the regular season.
Jacob Taylor recorded an impressive three rounds from the 10-foot line. Taylor shot a 146 out of a possible 150, including a perfect 50 in the second round from that distance. From the 15-foot line, Taylor added scores of 43-39-44 for a team-high 272.
Luke Morgan and
Will Martin each added a round of 48 from the 10-foot line. Wade Broyles tallied a 48 from 10 feet, as well.
Gracie McGahey shot back-to-back rounds of 47 from the 10-foot line.
