The Clinton High School Women's Basketball team sparked a second-half rally to overcome the Ridgeland Lady Titans, earning a 42-38 win in a non-district game on Friday, November 7, at Arrow Gym.

The Lady Arrows erased a 16-point deficit to secure their second straight win of the young season, improving their record to 2-0 following a 42-34 road win at Terry on Tuesday, November 4.

Ridgeland built a 30-14 lead by the intermission before Clinton clamped down on defense and grabbed the game's momentum. The Lady Arrows outscored the visitors 6-3 over the third quarter's eight minutes, trimming the deficit before the final frame.

Clinton then erupted for a 13-1 run to start the fourth quarter, tying the contest, and, eventually, taking the lead for good on a successful free throw at the 3:59 mark.

The Lady Arrows will participate in the Queens of the Court Tournament on Saturday, November 8, at Forest High School. Clinton returns home on Tuesday, November 11, to face the Lanier Lady Bulldogs at Arrow Gym. The junior varsity game starts at 4 p.m. and followed by the varsity contest at 6 p.m.
