JACKSON -- The Clinton High School Women's Basketball team bounced back from a heartbreaking loss with a double-digit win over the Murrah Lady Mustangs on Tuesday night.
Aria Jones paced the Lady Arrows with 15 points and six rebounds as they romped past the Lady Mustangs 49-31 in MHSAA District 2-7A action at Northwest Jackson Middle School.
Clinton's other double-figure scorer was
Caitlin White, who netted 11 points in the win.
Jatoi Johnson and
Eyana McKinley shared an identical stat line with seven points and six rebounds each.
Clinton (18-7 Overall) led Murrah 27-14 at the intermission, helping the red and black secure the second win over Murrah and the team's fifth district win this season.

The Lady Arrows celebrate their senior class of 2025 at their final regular-season home game. Clinton hosts the Madison Central Lady Jaguars at 6 p.m. on the campus of Clinton High School.
