The Clinton Cheer program announced tryout dates for the 2025-2026 school year on Friday afternoon. Tryouts include the Clinton High School, Sumner Hill Junior High School, and Clinton Junior High School Cheer squads. Tryout packets will be available at all three campuses' front offices on Monday, Feb. 3, and will be due at the respective front offices on Friday, Feb. 21, by 4 p.m. No late applications will be accepted.

Other important dates include a mandatory parents meeting at SHJHS on Monday, Feb. 24. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. on that date. A mandatory tryout clinic will be held on Sunday, March 2, on the campus of CHS, lasting from 4:30-6 p.m. An optional tryout clinics will be held on Monday and Tuesday, March 3 and 4, at CHS, lasting from 4:30-6 p.m.

  • DOORS CLOSE AT 5:30 P.M.

All three squads' tryout results for the 2025-2026 school year will be posted online at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 7.
