The Clinton High School Men's Cross Country team hosted a meet on its home course at the Clinton Arrow Invitational on Saturday.
The Arrows placed third against a strong contingent in the Black Division of the Men's 5K Race on the campus of Clinton High School.
Bobby Guillory paced Clinton with an 18:16 time around the course.
Dillon Pittman was the second best finish for the Arrows as the sophomore completed the course in 18 minutes, 25 seconds. Freshman
Kushal Mannam was the team's third best finisher with his time of 18:41.
Will Kennedy completed the race in 18 minutes, 44 seconds.
Levi Cook added his time of 18:53 to the team's score.
In the Junior High 3K Race, the Arrows finished in second place with great individual performances from several runners.
Daniel Dolson finished in fourth place with his time of 10 minutes, 47 seconds.
Logan Moore secured the sixth-place spot in 10 minutes, 51 seconds to round out the Arrows in the individual Top 10.
Micah Kieffer and
Noah Duncan completed the course in 11:16 and 11:24, respectively.
William Howell entered the individual Top 20 with a time of 11:26, and
Ezra Connelly provided his time of 11:27 to round out the junior high team's top finishers.

The Arrows continue their season through the CPSD Fall Break and Arrow Session. The Clinton Men's Cross Country team travels to Hattiesburg on Monday, Oct. 7, where it will compet at the Forerunner Lakeshore Run.
