The Clinton Arrows Tennis team earned a huge 8-1 win over the Hawks of Hartfield Academy on Tuesday afternoon at Clinton High School. The win moves the Arrows to a record of 4-0 in team matches this season.
The teams played 4 singles matches on Tuesday. The Arrows took 3 of those 4 singles matches.
Tejasvi Uppu won her match 6-1, 6-0.
Hannah Webb completed a comeback after dropping her opening set 2-6. She won the 2nd set 6-4 before taking the 3rd set tiebreak by a score of 10-7.
Kushal Mannam swept his 2 sets by a score of 6-0, 6-0.
Manas Guduru dropped his match with tight sets of 4-6, 4-6.
On the doubles side, the Arrows swept the Hawks in convincing fashion. On the girls side,
Grayson Temple and
Tierney Cronin won their match 6-2, 6-0.
Avanthi Remata and
Morgan Haselhorst won their match 6-3, 6-1. On the boys side,
Ethan Rone and
Brady Mayfield won their match 6-3, 6-1.

Jacob Strickler pulled out a tight match by a score of 7-6, 6-4. The mixed doubles team of

Keaton Cole won their match by a score of 6-3, 6-2.
The Arrows return to action on Thursday as they host their Region 2-7A opener against the Madison Central Jaguars. The match will begin at 3:45 PM.
