The Clinton Arrows Tennis team swept all 7 matches and all 14 sets played on Thursday afternoon in Vicksburg over the Warren Central Vikings. The win pushes the Arrows record to 2-0 on the season.
The 2 singles matches were 6-0, 6-0 from both
Owen Fulton and
Manas Guduru.
On the doubles side,
Tejasvi Uppu and
Avanthi Remata won their match 6-3, 6-2,
Grayson Temple and
Tierney Cronin swept their two sets at 6-0, 6-0,
Kushal Mannam and
Samuel Johnson dropped a single game in the 2nd set to win 6-0, 6-1.
Ethan Rone and
Brady Mayfield won their match 6-1, 6-1. The mixed doubles team of
James Mabry and
Hannah Webb won their match 6-2, 6-2.
The Arrows return home on Friday afternoon to take on the Newton County Cougars. Match time is 4 PM.
