JACKSON -- The Clinton High School Men's Cross Country ran its final race of the 2024 regular season at Mississippi College's Watson Invitational on Saturday morning.
The Arrows placed 11th out of 33 full teams in their division of the 5000m race at Choctaw Trails. The team is now ranked 10th statistically among the 24 teams classified in Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Class 7A as they enter the postseason.
Clinton 8th-grader
Logan Moore ran school record 5000m time of 18:09, smashing the previous record of 18:21.
Dillon Pittman paced the Arrows with his time of 18:01 and was followed by Moore's historical finish.
Will Kennedy added his time of 18 minutes, 10 seconds, to register as the third scoring runner.
Bobby Guillory and
Levi Cook were Clinton's scoring runners, posting times of 18:16.50 and 18:42.90, respectively.

The Arrows return to the course in its MHSAA Region 2-7A Meet on Thursday, Oct. 24, at Choctaw Trails. Clinton's region includes Germantown High School, Madison Central High School, Murrah High School, Starkville High School, and Tupelo HIgh School.Â
