Senior swimmer Carson Dowd signed a National Letter of Intent on Friday morning to continue his academic and swimming career at William Carey University.  Carson has been a member of the Clinton Arrows Swim Team for the past 6 years, specializing in the Butterfly.

During his career at Clinton, Dowd has earned the Coaches Award, Athlete of the Month, Qualified for both North State and State Meets, and has served as Team Captain.

Carson said his favorite memory as a member of the Arrows Swim Team was, "Going to State my 7th Grade year."

Carson is the son of Keith and Jamie Dowd, and his older sister Kylie is an Arrow Alumna (C/O 2021).

Dowd will be a member of the inaugural team at William Carey, as they are launching a swim program next year.
