The Lady Arrows dropped a close game against the Starkville Lady Yellow Jackets by a score of 51-48 at Arrow Gym on Tuesday night. The loss drops the Lady Arrows to a record of 12-6 and a record of 0-3 in Region 2-7A.
The Lady Arrows shot 19-of-39 from the field and 9-of-16 from the free throw line. The Lady Arrows also had 16 rebounds, but turned the ball over 16 times.
The Lady Arrows held a 4 point lead at the end of the 3rd quarter, but were outscored 15-8 in the final frame to lose the lead and drop the contest.
The Lady Arrows return to action on Friday night as they travel to Jackson to take on the Lady Mustangs of Murrah High School in another pivotal Region 2-7A matchup.
