The Lady Arrows Basketball team earned a tough win against a solid Brandon squad by a score of 49-43 on Tuesday night at Arrow Gym.  The win pushes the Lady Arrows to a record of 5-2 on the season.

The Lady Arrows played a solid game all around, shooting 40% from the field including a 28% clip from behind the 3-point line.  The Lady Arrows also gathered 20 rebounds on the night and had 7 steals to turn defensive successes into offensive opportunities.

The Lady Arrows were led in scoring by Senior Taeler Felton, who had 21 points on the night.  Felton shot 44% from the field on the night including 3 of 9 from long range.  She also added 4 steals on the night.  Junior Gabrielle Ward added 8 points on the night, shooting 60% from the field with 2 rebounds.  Junior Jatoi Johnson added 6 points in a game where she went 3 for 3 from the field inside the 3-point line.  She also added 5 rebounds on the night.  Sophomore Aria Jones added 5 points, all from the free throw line where she went 5 for 6 in the game.  Jones also added 3 rebounds.

The Lady Arrows return to action on Friday night as they travel down Clinton-Raymond Road to take on the Lady Rangers of Raymond High School.  JV starts at 4 PM and Varsity starts at 6 PM.
