Coach Luckett is a native of Carthage, MS. With a passion for leadership and education, Luckett earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Belhaven University and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. Coach Luckett began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Leake Central High School (2013-2015). During 2015-2018, Coach Luckett was the Head Basketball Coach at Union High School. For the previous six years, Luckett served as the Head Basketball Coach at Northwest Rankin. Coach Luckett notably led the Cougars Basketball Program to multiple district championships and the school's first men's 6A state championship (2023). 

A standout player himself, Luckett was named a MACJC All-Star basketball player at East Central Community College (ECCC) in 2009. His dedication and achievements earned him a spot in Tomorrow's 25 inaugural class of 2023.

As our Assistant Athletic Director and Head Coach, Luckett's impact and philosophy is built on fostering character development extending beyond the basketball court.
