JACKSON -- The Clinton High School junior varsity men's golf team won the Arrows JV Invitational on Tuesday, September 1, at Live Oaks Golf Club.
The Arrows finished atop team standings with a team score of 340 over the 18-hole event, placing four golfers inside the top four indvidually.
Robert Farr paced Clinton with a round of 78 to claim the individual championship. Farr shot 5-over on the front nine before closing with a 2-over performance on the back nine. The sophomore's winning round was highlighted by birdies on holes 5 and 17.
Maddox Walker and Kelland Langdon each carded an 86 to tie for second, while
Anderson Schoggin finished fourth with a 90.
Clinton's top four golfers combined to sweep the first four positions in the individual standings, with Farr's victory followed by Walker and Langdon's runner-up finishes and Schoggin in fourth.
Jack Dear added a round of 107 to finish 10th, while
Tyler Montgomery carded a 108 to place 11th individually.
