JACKSON -- The Clinton High School women's golf team claimed its third consecutive top-five finish at the Clinton Girls Invitational on Thursday, September 10, at Live Oaks Golf Club.

The Lady Arrows finished third in the team standings, combining for a team score of 191 over the 18-hole event.

Ellyn Burchfield led the Lady Arrows with a 90, finishing fifth individually. Burchfield carded a 9-over on the front nine before she added a 10-over on the back nine.

Laney Mitchell followed with a 101, finishing eighth, to complete Clinton's scoring rounds.

Ava DuBose followed with a 95 to finish sixth individually, while Laney Mitchell carded a 101 to place eighth.

Chloe Dickinson also finished with a round of 101. Harper Davis and Taylar Rai Johnson each carded a 106, while Elin Parry added a round of 110.

All seven Lady Arrows finished inside the individual top 20 as Clinton secured its third consecutive top-five team finish.
