MADISON -- The Clinton High School women's golf team had a quick turnaround for its second round of the season, competing in the Lady Mavs Invitational on Thursday, August 13, at Whisper Lake Country Club.

The Lady Arrows finished fifth in the team standings, led by Ellyn Burchfield's 78. Burchfield finished 10th individually, earning her second consecutive top-10 finish to open the 2026.

Laney Mitchell finished just outside the top 10, carding an 82 to place 12th individually and round out Clinton's team score. Taylar Rai Johnson and Harper Davis added rounds of 95 and 96, respectively.

The Lady Arrows return to the course on Monday, August 24, for a Madison Central-hosted even at Reunion Golf and Country Club in Madison.
