The Clinton Arrows Swim Team includes 40 swimmers in grades 7-12 from Clinton Junior High School, Sumner Hill Junior High School, and Clinton High School. The team is under the direction of Coach Marcy Rushing. This is Rushing's seventh year with the Arrows. All swimmers will work to meet the MHSAA Class III qualifying times for the North State Meet on October 4 at Delta State Aquatics Center in Cleveland.
The team will have five meets in its 2025 regular season, including two home meets.
- August 16 CHS vs Germantown (Cypress Lake)
- August 23 CHS vs Vicksburg (Vicksburg Public Pool)
- August 28 CHS vs Warren Central (Clinton YMCA)
- September 13 CHS Invite (Clinton YMCA)
- September 27 Last Chance Meet (Flowood Courthouse Pool hosted by Madison Central)
The top 8 individuals and the top 8 relays at the North State Meet will qualify for the MHSAA State Meet in Tupelo on October 17, 2025.
Rushing is optimistic for the 2025 Season.
"I'm excited to see what this young team can do this year," Rushing said. "With several returning upperclassmen, I hope to have some State Meet qualifiers both individually and relay members. We would love the support of the community for our two home
