The Clinton Arrows Swim Team (CAST) hosted a double-dual meet on Thursday, August 28, against Warren Central High School and Vicksburg High School in home water at the Clinton YMCA. CAST pride was elevated as the Clinton Women's team won the
meet. The Clinton Men's team finished in a close second.
More swimmers qualified for even more events in the MHSAA Class III North State Swim Meet to be held Saturday, October 4, at Delta State University in Cleveland:
"CAST has been such a positive experience for Selah due to the way Marcy Rushing coaches," Selah's mother Sissie Snow said. "Coach Rushing expects the best from her swimmers, not only in the pool, but also in academics and in sportsmanship. Coach talks the talk and she walks the walk in how she treats her team and that shows in how her team members love and support her, each other, and those they compete against. Being an Arrow on the swim team has given Selah skills that will last a lifetime."
CAST will take brief break over the Labor Day weekend. Coach Marcy Rushing and the team hope Clinton fans will come out to support them at their next home meet Saturday, September 13 at the Clinton Arrows Invitational, also to be held at the YMCA Pool in Clinton.
