MADISON-- The Clinton High School Women's Powerlifting team competed at the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Region 2-7A Meet, which was hosted at Rosa Scott High, this past Saturday under the supervision of Coach Ethan Eubanks.
Several Clinton lifters earned podium finishes in their respective weight classes. Allison Herron and Aryona Hermanstein claimed first-place titles, while Caten McCleave, Jayla Hicks, and Madison Kimble secured second-place finishes. Elizabeth Chittom, Londria Hinton, Madisyn James, Kaylin Constancio, and Jordan Butler each finished in third place. The Clinton Women's Powerlifiting placed 2nd overall in the competition.
With ten athletes moving on, the Arrows will be well represented at the MHSAA 7A North State Powerlifting Meet, set for Saturday, March 1, at Oxford High School.
