PONTOTOC -- The Clinton High School Men's Cross Country team placed third in the 5000m race at the Pontotoc XC Invitational on Saturday morning.
Logan Moore paced the Arrows with his time of 17 minutes, 28 seconds, placing the freshman in sixth place of the individual leader board.
Daniel Dolson finished the course in 18:05, and
Ezra Connelly chipped in a time of 18 minutes, 25 seconds. Dolson and Connelly finished 10th and 17th, respectively.

Dillon Pittman (19:06) rounded out the scoring Arrows with finishes in 33rd and 39th places.Â
In the middle-school 3500m race, the CJHS Arrows dominated the field for a top finish, dusting the competition away with a 60-point differential between first and second.
Micah Kieffer,
Coleman Finch, and
Jace Williamson were second, third, and fifth places, respectively. Kieffer's second-place position was claimed with time of 12 minutes, 35 seconds. Finch and Williamson added times of 12:46 and 12:58 each.
Ethan McQueen finished his trek in 13 minutes, 21 seconds, and
Adrian Brown was not far behind his teammate with a finish of 13 minutes, 26 seconds. McQueen finished in 12th, and Brown landed in 14th.
