The Clinton Junior High School Volleyball team set a goal at the beginning of the season.

Now, the goal has been achieved.

It has been roughly six years since CJHS (6-3) made the quarterfinals of the Little Six Volleyball Tournament. However, not only did the Lady Arrows make the quarterfinals, it did so automatically, placing as the fourth seed in the tournament.

"This season has definitely had its ups and downs, but we made it back to the Little Six Tournament," Head Junior High Volleyball Coach Taylor Mraz said. "I am very proud of them for that. They have proven that when they work hard and together as a team, we can win games.

"The future is very bright for these young ladies, and I am excited to watch them continue to grow through volleyball and succeed as players and as a team," Mraz added.

Clinton faces Warren Central Junior High School, a team the Lady Arrows defeated in the regular season, tomorrow at Germantown Middle School in Gluckstadt. The game starts at around 10 a.m. If Clinton wins, it will face the winner of Germantown or the winner of the first play-in game determined earlier this week.
