The Clinton Lady Arrows traveled to Jackson on Tuesday for a road Region 2-7A match against the Lady Mustangs of Murrah.  Clinton swept the Lady Mustangs by set scores of 25-11, 25-4, and 25-9.  The win moves the Lady Arrows to 8-16 on the season and 2-7 in Region 2-7A.

Defensively, the Lady Arrows were led by Junior Maelin Cronin and Freshman Joelle Ambrose, who had 8 and 7 Digs respectively.  

Offensively, Cronin led the Lady Arrows with 12 Kills, 1 Assist, and 6 Aces behind the service line.  Junior Setter Mary Preston Bruce added 2 Kills, 20 Assists, and 3 service Aces.  Sophomore Madison Harris added 5 Kills and 4 Aces.  Sophomore Saylor Bynum added 5 more Aces, and Joelle Ambrose had 5 Aces as well.

The Lady Arrows return to action on Thursday when they host the McEvans Warriors on Arrow Drive.  JV starts at 5 and Varsity starts at 6 PM.
