The Lady Arrows traveled north to Gluckstadt on Tuesday night to take on the Lady Mavericks of Germantown in the first 7A region match of the 2023-2024 school year. While the Lady Arrows lost a nailbiter in the first set, 25-23, they were unable to take at set and dropped the match in straight sets.
Zoey Washington led the way offensively for the Lady Arrows with 4 kills, while
Mary Preston Bruce set the pace with 9 assists. Defensively,
Maelin Cronin led the team with 6 digs.
When asked about the match, Head Coach Autumn Frost said, "This was a tough loss but we're improving every game. I'm excited to see how the rest of our season goes."
The Lady Arrows fall to 4-6 on the season and 0-1 in Region 2-7A.
