Coach Marett is entering his 18th year overall in Clinton. During his tenure with the Lady Arrows, Coach Marett has led the Lady Arrows to District Championships in 2000 and 2001 and Regional Championships in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024.

Between his two tenures in Clinton, Marett spent 2002-2012 at Ridgeland High School.
Marett spent his running career at Amory High School, and ran Cross Country and Track in Starkville at Mississippi State University.
Marett is married to the former Carley Schoggen who is a CHS alumna.
