Kyle Nichols will be serving in his first year in the role of Sports Information Director this year.
Coach Nichols has served in various roles in Clinton for the past 8 years. Before serving in this role, Coach Nichols served as an Assistant Baseball Coach from 2016-2018 and 2022-2023. He also served as an Assistant Softball Coach for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Coach Nichols is also the faculty advisor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and teaches Advanced Placement United States History during the school day.

Before coming to Clinton, Nichols served as an Assistant Football Coach and Assistant Baseball at Kossuth High School from 2013-2015, helping lead the Aggies to a Baseball State Championship in 2014.
Nichols spent his playing days in Birmingham, AL, where he was a 4-year letterman at Samford University from 2006-2009. In 2009, as a Senior, Nichols led the Bulldogs in appearances and saves and was named Mr. Bulldog by his peers and the Samford Athletics administration for his work on the field and off the field in the classroom and the community.
Nichols is married to his wife, Hannah, who also teaches in Clinton and serves as the AP Art, Drawing, and Painting teacher while also helping lead Student Council. They have one son, John Wilson, and they are expecting their second child this November.
