The Lady Arrows Softball team dropped a 6-5 decision on Tuesday night at North Pike in Summit, MS.  The loss drops the Lady Arrows to a record of 4-3 on the season.

The Lady Arrows attempted a torrid comeback on Tuesday night after the Lady Jaguars scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning and 1 more in the bottom of the 2nd inning to go up 6-1.  The Lady Arrows would not allow another run, however, and scored 4 runs of their own in the top of the 3rd to trim the lead to 6-5.  The final 4 innings were scoreless across the board and the Lady Jaguars held on for the win.

Offensively, the Lady Arrows gathered 8 hits as a group.  Keelyn Constancio, Makenzie Cooley, and Destiny Funchess all had multi-hit nights.  Estrella Constancio went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.  Funchess also drove in 2 runs to go along with her 2 hits.

In the circle for the Lady Arrows, Ashlen Albritton started and pitched 5.0 innings, giving up 5 earned runs on 7 hits.  E. Constancio pitched the final inning for the Lady Arrows, giving up 0 hits and striking out 1.

The Lady Arrows return to action on Thursday v. Lawrence County at home.  JV will play at 5 and Varsity at 6:30 PM.
