The Clinton Lady Arrow and Arrow Bowling teams earned decisive wins at Fannin Lanes on Tuesday as they traveled to take on the Brandon Bulldogs. Both teams won by scores of 5-1. The wins push the record for the Lady Arrows to 5-0-1 and the Arrows to 5-1.
For the Lady Arrows, the A team dropped the first game by a score of 378-367 before coming back to win the final two by scores of 398-323 and 375-318. Junior
Tempe Cameron led the team with a series score of 428 and the single-game high score of 166. The B Team swept the Lady Bulldogs by scores of 465-313, 397-372, and 414-400.
Kyia Simpson had the single-game high score of 162 in her opening game, and
Ruby Martindale had the series-high score of 456.
For the Arrows, the A Team swept the Bulldogs by scores of 610-466, 551-486, and 638-573.
Aiden McGloster led the team with a single-game score of 235 and a series score of 668.
Codey Upton and
Lucas Simpson both added scores of 200 and 223 respectively. The B Team swept the Bulldogs by scores of 535-385 and 472-368 before dropping the final game by a score of 406-351.
Elijah Whitfield earned the single-game high score with an opening game of 245.
The Bulldogs return to Fannin Lanes on Thursday as they take on the Jaguars of Madison Central. The match will begin at 3:30 PM.
