The Clinton Arrow Bowling teams swept the Meridian Wildcats on Monday afternoon at Arrow Lanes by scores of 6-0 and 6-0. The wins move the Lady Arrows to a record of 4-0-1 and the Arrows to a record of 4-1.
The Lady Arrows A Team won their games by scores of 524-248, 419-268, and 415-284. Junior
Tempe Cameron led the A team in the series with a total score of 528 over the 3 games.
Layla McGee had the high game score with a 194 in the opener. The Lady Arrows B Team won their games by scores of 435-272, 403-246, and 411-264.
Ruby Martindale led the team in her high game of 173 as well as her series score of 507.
The Arrows A Team won their games by scores of 584-379, 645-470, and 612-420.
Aiden McGloster bowled a 235 in the opening game before bowling his high score of 236 in the final game of the series and finished with a series score of 659.
Codey Upton had the high single game score with a 258, as he finished only a couple frames away from a perfect 300 game. The Arrows B Team won their games by scores of 458-330, 438-272, and 474-317.
Craig Clarke had the high series with a 483, and
Eion Kemp had the high single game score with a 185.
The Kingpins now head into Christmas Break before returning to action on Tuesday, January 9 when they travel to Fannin Lanes to take on the Brandon Bulldogs.
