The Clinton Arrow Kingpins kicked the season off with a sweep of Germantown at Indian Lanes on Monday afternoon. The Arrows and Lady Arrows both won by scores of 6-0.
The Lady Arrows defeated the Lady Mavericks in Game 1 333-245. Game 2 saw a score of 378-249, and the final game score was 372-206. The Arrows won 515-368, 474-402, and 469-410.
Junior
Lucas Simpson scored the highest game total for the Arrows with a 212 in his opening game. He followed up his 212 with a 181 and a 188 for a 442 series. On the Lady Arrows' side, Sophomore
Layla McGee bowled a team-high 170 game, followed by a 147 and a 142 for her series.
The Arrows and Lady Arrows return to action Tuesday as they travel to Fannin Lanes to take on Northwest Rankin High School.
